If you've played Spitwad Willy, you've played Pea Shootin' Pete. While I'm not entirely sure about the history of this game, it seems as though after Raoul Said created Spitwad Willy, he either licensed it to Pack Media Company under a new name, or rebranded it when be became involved somehow with the company. Anyways, other than that, it's pretty much the same game, and as such still borrows heavily from Pang (aka Buster Bros).Pea Shootin' Pete is a light-hearted and entertaining DOS arcade-style game where players control Pete, a character armed with a pea shooter. The goal is to shoot peas at various targets that appear on the screen, ranging from moving objects to enemies. The game challenges your accuracy and timing as you try to hit as many targets as possible while avoiding obstacles. The game features simple, yet engaging mechanics where you must aim and fire your pea shooter to hit the moving targets. As you progress, the difficulty increases, with faster-moving targets and more complex patterns to follow. The more accurate you are, the higher your score, and the further you can advance through the game. With its charming pixel art and whimsical sound effects, Pea Shootin' Pete offers a nostalgic, fun, and casual experience, perfect for fans of retro arcade games looking for a quick and enjoyable challenge. The easy-to-understand mechanics make it accessible to players of all ages.
